WATCH: Michigan officer helps homeless man shave

A homeless man in Detroit needed help. He had just been given a razor and shaving cream, but he was having trouble shaving. A police officer took notice and stepped in.

Detroit officer Jeremy Thomas noticed the man trying to use a water bottle to rinse his hands and coat his face. He walked up to him and offered to help.

“I walked up and I said, ‘excuse me, sir.’ He said ‘okay, I’ll leave, I’ll leave.’ I said ‘no, do you need some help?’ He turned around blindly and said “yes, thank you, and God bless.’”
