Power has been restored after two outages Thursday afternoon left more than 2,700 homes and businesses without electricity in Liberty Twp.
The first outage, which involved 2,177 customers, was reported at 3:18 p.m. Power was restored at 6:05 p.m., according to Duke Energy. Its cause was reported as unknown on the utility company’s website.
The second outage was reported at 3:22 p.m.
“The outage was caused by an object coming into contact with our power lines,” a message on Duke Energy’s website read.
