The Middletown Police Department is adding officers to patrol the streets this holiday season to target speeding, seatbelt and alcohol offenses.

The officers are being paid by a grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ohio Department of Safety, the police department said.

Police ask residents who see aggressive or possible impaired driving to call 513-425-7700 with the license plate and vehicle description, if possible.
