City officials said the program will waive penalties on all accounts that were due prior to tax year 2016 when the tax and interest are paid in full by Oct. 31.
Taxpayers must file an amnesty application, along with returns for the missing tax years, and make their payments in full.
Letters will be mailed to the known delinquent taxpayers with details about how to participate.
If a taxpayer has not received a letter, but believe the are eligible for the program, they should email their name, address, and phone number at tax@monroeohio.org.
