3 Middletown students accused in burglary to remain incarcerated

Three Middletown teens charged with aggravated burglary will appear in Butler County Juvenile Court later this month.

Two of the teens appeared in court this morning and their pre-trial hearings were set for 9 a.m. July 24, according to court documents. The other teen appeared Wednesday morning and his date was set for July 24.

Two of the teens entered no pleas and the third pleaded “not true,” according to court documents.

All three were remanded to the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center.

They allegedly stole guns and jewelry Tuesday afternoon from a safe in a home in the 2200 block of Tytus Avenue, according to police.

The suspects are all 17 and Middletown High School students, according to police and district records.

Police recovered guns allegedly used in the burglary.
