He said the alleged male robber brandished a handgun before jumping over the counter and chasing at least two employees out of the restaurant before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Cunningham said the suspect was wearing a hat, full mask and sweat clothes.
Detectives have interviewed multiple people in their investigation of the incident as they search for the suspect, he said.
