Middletown police investigating report of shots fired

Middletown police are investigating a report of shots fired in the area of Carmody Boulevard and Central Avenue at about 11:15 a.m. today.

The “shooter” got into a vehicle, according to dispatchers, and police are searching area of Germantown Road and Nelbar Street.

Middletown Police Lt. Scott Reeve said at this point there is no indication anyone was hit by the reported shots.
