Woman appearing under the influence accused in burglary

A woman is in jail after she was accused of breaking into a Dayton home and then grabbing a Dayton officer inappropriately while being arrested, according to a Dayton police report.

Tina Hasty, 24, is in the Montgomery County Jail on pending charges of assault, burglary and obstructing official business, according to jail records.

According to the report, Hasty was accused of breaking into a house in the 900 block of Milburn around 11 p.m.  Thursday and appeared to be under the influence of some type of drug when officers spotted her on Webster Street.

Officers put Hasty in the back of a police cruiser, where she pushed herself out of the rear seat and into the area between the seat and the cage of the cruiser, the report read.

Hasty was taken out of the cruiser and after removing her she struggled with officers and grabbed one of the officers inappropriately, which seemed to have caused him pain, the report said.

Hasty was transported to the hospital and then to the Montgomery County Jail.
