First pitch will be greeted with showers and windy conditions. Those showers will likely continue throughout the entirety of the game, if it doesn't get postponed before its scheduled start time at 2:10 p.m.
The Dayton Dragons 20th anniversary game is in danger of being impacted by rain as well.
The Dragons said they will make every attempt to play today.
“If we are unable to play, unfortunately, with Alumni Team players headed to various teams in the Reds organization to start their seasons, there is no make-up date for the game,” said Tom Nichols, Dragons director of media relations.
Aside from the rain and wind, the ballpark will experience a chilly trend throughout the game as temperatures are expected to drop around the middle innings. After the game ends, colder temperatures will continue to push through with a chance for a few snowflakes mixing in with the rain showers closer to midnight.
