The incident, initially reported as a water main break, was dispatched about 7:45 p.m.

The water appears to be coming from the apartment building and has formed a small pond that vehicles are splashing through.

A two-man Dayton water utility field operations has shut off water to the apartment building.

They said the building's owner will have to take care of the problem.
