WATCH: Band releases video of special July 4 show at Hamilton’s RiversEdge amphitheater

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, which played a concert at Hamilton’s RiversEdge amphitheater on Independence Day, has released a video of their song “Comin’ Round the Mountain” from that show.

The jam band features Robinson, a former front man for The Black Crowes, and the 5-minute-44-second mellow jam of a song has very good sound quality on the video, capturing part of what may be the band’s next-to-last-ever performance in this country, because after its concert that followed in Milwaukee and shows in Europe, the band is expected to break up.

The song is from the group’s sixth studio album, released earlier this year, “Servants of the Sun.”

The band appeared in a show known as “Jared’s Jam” because it is sponsored by Hamilton residents Jack and Karen Whalen as a memorial to their son, Jared, a 1993 Hamilton High School graduate who was a well-respected chef at such restaurants as The Maisonette in Cincinnati and the Coach House Tavern & Grille in Hamilton. He died in August of heart failure.
