Overnight: Showers will pick up in coverage at times overnight as temperatures fall into the lower 50s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.

Saturday:  Steady showers arrive with a few thunderstorms in the morning. The rain continues for a majority of the day, with rain totals expected to range from a half-inch to inch across the Miami Valley. Temperatures will rise to the middle to upper 50s early, then fall through the afternoon. As the cooler air arrives the rain will switch to light snow showers in the evening before ending. A light coating to half-inch of snow is possible. It also will be windy with gusts up to 25 mph.

Sunday:  Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine. Colder air continues to filter in. High temperatures will only climb to around 40 degrees, but it will feel like the 30s due to the breezy conditions.

Monday:  Sunny skies but chilly to start the workweek with highs in the upper 40s.

Tuesday:  Mostly sunny with a high in the middle 50s.

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny skies again and warmer with highs around 60 degrees.
