National atheists convention to be held in region on Easter

“Our conference isn’t just about speakers, service projects, and training,” Jen Scott, a member of American Atheists board of directors and a Cincinnati activist, said in a statement. “It’s also about connecting our community while having a great time with your fellow atheists.”

The event includes workshops and speakers. On ‘Good Friday’ atheists will rally in Cincinnati’s Fountain Square in support of religious freedom and equality. Then on Easter Sunday, convention attendees will hold its “Two Hands Working Service Project” that will pack 50,000 meals for people in need in the Cincinnati area.
