Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital will once again host a “Blue Christmas” service this year. The special service, which acknowledges the “blue” feelings that people may feel during the holidays, takes place in the hospital chapel at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Whether it’s issues with family, money, time, a personal loss or something else entirely, the holidays can be particularly stressful and it’s not uncommon for people to struggle with a sense of sadness during this time of year.

“Fairfield Hospital’s Blue Christmas gives participants the chance to offer their concerns to God for healing and transformation,” says Fairfield Hospital Chaplain Lynda Savelli. “We pray that you will find hope and comfort in knowing that you are not alone.”

The service is open to the public. Fairfield Hospital is located at 3000 Mack Road.
