Emergency crews responded a crash that trapped the passengers inside the vehicle in front of the water plant at 6800 River Road in Fairfield around 10:43 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to Fairfield dispatch records, two people were injured in the crash, and an AirCare medical helicopter was called to the scene.

In scanner traffic, we heard emergency crews call a second helicopter to the scene.

We are working to learn more and will update this story with any new information.
