DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Clouds will break with temperatures slowly falling around 20 degrees by the morning, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Wednesday: Expect some sunshine to start the day, but clouds will increase from south to north in the afternoon and evening. Highs will hold in the upper 30s. Expect a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow to develop after midnight.

Thursday: A mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow will start the day and likely affect the morning commute. As the morning wears on, temperatures will rise above freezing and the precipitation will change to all rain and conditions will improve. However, a mix will linger across the far northern Miami Valley before changing back to some snow showers or flurries in the evening before ending as temperatures fall again. Highs will be in the upper 30s in the mid-afternoon.

Friday: Skies will become partly cloudy. It will be breezy and cool with highs in the lower 40s.

Saturday: Expect more cloud cover to arrive during the day with a chance for a passing sprinkle or flurry late in the day or evening. Highs will reach into the lower 40s, but then fall back again.

Sunday: Partly sunny skies will end the weekend with chillier conditions. Highs will hold in the upper 30s.
