Jobs alert: Growing company holding hiring event TODAY in Butler County

A company that just announced it is building a new $14 million headquarters and creating 100 jobs in the next five years is holding a hiring event today.

Rhinestahl AMG (Advanced Manufacturing Group) will be at OhioMeansJobs-Butler County, 4631 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. The Mason-based company is looking to hire CNC machinists, manufacturing engineers, machining cost estimators and electrical engineering technicians.

Rhinestahl Corp. is a privately held company that was founded in 1967 as a precision machining and manufacturing company and has grown to be a world leading provider of gas turbine engine and airframe tools.

The company moved to Mason in 2009. It has more than 180 employees with approximately 10 percent located internationally.

Rhinestahl and the city of Mason announced this week that they had reached an agreement that will lead to the construction of its new headquarters in the city by 2021 and the creation of 100 new jobs over the course of five years.

That news followed Monday’s Mason City Council meeting, during which council members approved a contract for sale and purchase of a 50-acre property in the Mason R&D Park for $1.5 million, as well as an economic participation agreement with Rhinestahl.

The Mason R&D Park encompasses 400 acres north of Bethany Road and extending between U.S. 42 west across Ohio 741.
