Overnight: A few clouds will linger through the night. It will be warm and muggy with temperatures holding in the lower 70s.

Friday: Sunshine will start the day with increasing clouds in the afternoon. It will remain warm and muggy. Scattered showers and storms will develop late in the afternoon and into the evening. A few storms could become severe with damaging wind gusts possible. Highs will be in the middle 80s before the storms move through. Storms could impact area high school football games.

Saturday: It will be breezy and cooler with lingering clouds. There is a slight chance for a few showers across the far southern Miami Valley. Highs will hold in the upper 60s, on this the last day of summer.

Sunday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the lower 70s for the first day of the autumn season.
