A winery located between Xenia and Jamestown has closed temporarily until road repairs can be made, according to the winery's Facebook page, although a temporary fix is in the works to restore greater access while a larger road project is completed.

"The main road into the winery is blocked off, and we hope to have a temporary fix by Thursday afternoon," said Walter Borda, founder of Caesar Creek Vineyards at 962 Long Road in New Jasper Twp. "We are making emergency repairs to fix the dirt road entering the winery site alongside the pond. We've had some erosion and flooding, and we don't want anyone's car damaged on the way in or out."

Access to the winery and its tasting room is still possible via a Gator ride from the winery’s main house, Borda said.

Case sales and deliveries are still available, Borda said.
