Today: There will be passing showers this morning with the chance for a storm mainly north of Interstate 70, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini. Activity is isolated and many will have a dry morning commute. Temperatures today will soar into the mid-70s with sunshine and broken clouds. A few late day showers or storms could lift north through the evening.

Saturday: A stray shower is possible in the morning ahead of dry time in the afternoon. It will be much warmer than normal with temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80. There will be some sun with scattered clouds, and wind gusts of up to 30 MPH will be possible. An isolated shower or storm may pop up in the late day and early evening.

Easter Sunday: The early morning is looking mainly dry. A shower may arrive toward lunch. Showers and storms will become widespread for the end of the day and evening as a cold front moves through. Highs will be in the low 70s with gusty winds again. Severe storms are not expected.

Monday: Dry weather will start the work week. Clouds will break for sunshine with temperatures warmer than normal in the upper 60s.

Tuesday: Clouds will increase through the day, but it will stay dry with highs in the low 70s. Showers will arrive late at night.
