Crews are working to repair a large water main break on North Third Street in Hamilton, across from the city’s power plant and the Rumpke trash transfer station, according to Public Works Director Jim Williams.
Repair crews are coordinating their work with Duke Energy because some of that utility’s poles are close to the water main. The crews are having to dig 12 to 14 feet down into the ground to make the repairs, Williams said.
“We’re in the process of trying to fix that now, which is a nightmare,” Williams said.
