The speed limit on Michael Road is normally 45 mph. However, Schuster said that the office especially recommends driving slower on side roads like this at night during the summer.
“You get a lot of wildlife that runs back and forth across the road, especially for loud motorcycles; it has a tendency to stir them up [...] off the sides of the road and run out into your path. So, we always recommend that you go a little under the speed limit as you’re traversing through these back roads, because you never know what’s going to run out in front of you,” he said.
