UPDATE: Report of fire at Middletown business leads to crews working on roof

Smoke could still be seen, and crews reported some smoldering on the inside, but the fire was reported out, officials said.

Fire units are on the scene now of a reported fire at Wausau Paper, 700 Columbia Ave. in Middletown.

A fire has been reported in the scale house, and firefighters were told by dispatchers to enter on Carmody Boulevard.

Firefighters reported no smoke showing when they arrived and said employees are on the roof.
