Overnight: Clouds thicken through the night, with a slight chance of a passing shower west of I-75 about daybreak as temperatures will fall through the 70s into the middle 60s overnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.
Thursday: Rounds of showers and storms are expected. The greatest threat for strong storms will be in the afternoon, with locally heavy rain and gusty winds. An isolated, embedded storm may become strong to severe. The high temperature is expected to reach the mid-70s. Outside the thunderstorms, wind gusts could reach 30 mph to 40 mph. Showers will taper after midnight.
