“This deal is proof that Cincinnati continues to be an attractive location for international business investment,” Mallory said. “In the past few years, we have implemented a much more targeted economic development strategy and it is paying off. This deal shows that Cincinnati is competing internationally for new business, and we are succeeding.”
In January, Mallory led a trade mission to Saudi Arabia organized by the U.S. Saudi Arabian Business Council for Cincinnati businesses, including Solutions Plus. During the trade mission, Solutions Plus representatives met with DLPS to begin laying the groundwork for this partnership.
“This partnership is an opportunity for us to not only increase our revenues but also create jobs at our Cincinnati location. It will give us the chance to positively impact the industries in Saudi Arabia in cleaning and maintenance, and in an environmentally friendly way,” Weaver said. “The Trade Mission organized by Mayor Mallory in January of this year provided a platform for our development in the Middle East, and I encourage other companies to look into these excellent opportunities.”
The U.S. Saudi Arabian Business Council is an organization of business leaders in both countries working together to strengthen bilateral business relations through trade and investment by promoting a broader understanding among U.S. and Saudi companies, as well as providing information on specific business opportunities.
