President Donald Trump and model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen have battled on Twitter in the past, but this time, things got real filthy and the interwebs went nuts.
>> Mayor Whaley ‘confused’ by Trump's tweet about how she described his visit to Dayton
According to CNN, this round apparent started because the president was miffed Republicans were not given more credit during a MSNBC town hall on criminal justice for signing the First Step Act into law.

Among other things, the act gives judges more discretion when sentencing some drug offenders, eases mandatory minimum sentences and encourages inmates to participate in programs designed to reduce the risk of recidivism, with credits that can be used to gain an earlier release.

Trump took at shot at Teigen and her husband John Legend, a Springfield native.
The couple appeared in the town hall.
....musician @johnlegend, and his filthy mouthed wife, are talking now about how great it is - but I didn’t see them around when we needed help getting it passed. “Anchor”@LesterHoltNBC doesn’t even bring up the subject of President Trump or the Republicans when talking about....— Donald J. Teigen fired back filthily.

Legend's words were significantly less filthy than his wife's.

.@twitter won't let Twitter be great. I understand. #PresidentPussyAssBitch is vile and absolutely should not trend.— John Legend (@johnlegend) September 9, 2019
This is far from the first time #TeamTrump and #TeamChrissy have squared off.
Trump had even previously blocked Teigen on Twitter.
