Chelsey Coe disappearance: What we know today

Authorities searching for evidence involving a missing Miamisburg woman are asking for the person who knows what happened to her to call police anonymously.

Police searching a Greene County park for evidence about Chelsey Coe say it’s “unlikely” she’s still alive after disappearing last summer, “but we don’t know what happened to her,” said Miamisburg Sgt. Jeff Muncy.

Here’s what we know today:

1. Where are police searching?

Evidence involving Chelsey Coe perhaps being at Sugarcreek MetroPark at that time led federal, state and local law enforcement to close the 618-acre park and search it Tuesday and Wednesday, Muncy said.

2. What have they found?

“There’s nothing concrete that says she’s here,” he said Wednesday. “This is just one lead we’re investigating and we’re trying to do it thoroughly to find her.”

Muncy said information leads police to believe the park may have been one of the last places Coe was seen.

3. Who is responsible for the disappearance?
