Building Blocks for Kids to host Bubble Blast 5K Run/Walk

Building Blocks for Kids will hold their annual Bubble Blast 5K Run/Walk at 10 a.m. on Aug. 26 at Corwin Nixon Park, 6249 Mason Montgomery Road. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to attend the race, which will benefit children in the tri-state area that need adaptive equipment, therapies, minor home modifications, mobility solutions and more.

The Bubble Blast 5K will feature music, a vendor fair, food, dancing, a bubble pit and more. Early registration is available, with day of registration starting at 8:30 a.m. The cost to register is $35 for adults, $20 for children ages 5-17, and free for children under 5.

Register by Aug. 1 with a team of 15 or more and pick a team shirt color. All participants will receive a race t-shirt with their registration. This event is designed for the whole family to enjoy.

Building Blocks for Kids (BB4K) envisions a community where the needs of children with physical, emotional and developmental challenges are being met. Building Blocks for Kids’ mission is to bridge the funding gap for products and services that help improve the quality of life for these children.
