Avett Brothers and Roost American will be a winning combination this Tuesday

It didn't take very long for the Aug. 14 Avett Brothers concert at the Fraze to sell out. If you missed them in 2012 or 2014, you likely rushed to buy a ticket alongside everyone else who was there.

Why? Moving songs filled with enough honest and pure "punkgrass" banjo energy that have endeared most people who have taken any time at all to listen and soak it all in.

Their 2016 ninth full-length album, "True Sadness," was nominated for the 2017 Grammy in the Best Americana Album category among many other honors and accolades in the past year.

There is no doubt, they are loved.

Whether you love them or are looking to learn to love them more but can't seem to get your hands on a ticket, the next best thing is to see if you can get a good seat at Roost American on Tuesday.

Owned and operated by Chef Dana Downs of Roost Modern Italian in the Oregon District, this is the place to come to have dinner before or during a Fraze show, or have drinks after a Fraze show.

With a full-service bar, a classy vibe and one of the best patios in Dayton, this is a spot that is sure to strike the right note during the Fraze concert season.
