Middletown City Schools staffers spent some time with Justin Timberlake this summer while preparing for the new school year.

No, teachers and staff didn’t travel to Europe for the Grammy-winning singer’s Man Of The Woods tour. A cardboard cutout of the entertainer has been popping up in several staffers’ Twitter posts as part of Superintendent Marlon Styles’ #MiddieRising movement that made Timberlake’s song “Can’t Stop That Feeling” its anthem.

Our Board just accepted a $12,224 check from the Middletown Community Foundation. Staffers at one Middletown elementary school even created a lip sync video to the song.
