The president’s cabinet, made up of the division vice presidents and athletic director, are reviewing university operations to ensure protocols are in place to protect the health and safety of students, faculty and staff, the university stated.
The university also cited Philippians 2:4 as a guide. The biblical passage reads: “Everyone should look out not [only] for his own interests, but also for the interests of others” in the Christian Standard Bible translation.

“This is an unprecedented opportunity to live out Cedarville’s core value of ‘Love for Others’ as we take the precautions necessary to protect ourselves and those most vulnerable,” the university stated.
One significant change the university is considering is to end the fall semester at Thanksgiving to allow students to be away from campus from late November through mid-January. A decision is expected by the end of May.
