Jungle Jim’s to throw Big Lebowski Blast to commemorate cult classic

Fans of “The Big Lebowski” will get the chance to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the cult classic June 30 at the Big Lebowski Blast, a movie screening and after-party to commemorate the 1998 movie at Jungle Jim’s International Market in Eastgate.

Ticketed guests for the 5 p.m. VIP screening will receive themed Absolut and Kahlúa cocktails, food, including “Donny’s In-N-Out Sliders” and “The Dude’s Pub Fries,” prepared by Jungle Jim’s head chef and complimentary “swag” bags filled with Lebowski-themed souvenirs.

The VIP movie experience will be held in the new Jungle Experience Center — or JXC — a venue equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment. The center also houses an oversized 4-panel 110-inch television that will be used to screen the movie.

Reserve seats by purchasing VIP tickets for $35 each here.

A 7 p.m. after-party is free to attend in the Paradise Pavilion, Jungle Jim’s open-air, smoke-friendly bar and lounge. Guests there may partake of cocktails at the full bar, mingle with like-minded Lebowski enthusiasts and compete in a Lebowski look-alike contest.

Jungle Jim’s Eastgate store is located at 4450 Eastgate South Drive, Cincinnati.
