Springer, 73, who entertained the thought of running for governor before removing his name from contention last November, accepted the job as host for the touring version of the popular game show that has made its way around the country.
The Price Is Right Live! is based on the television game show that gives eligible individuals the chance to “Come On Down” to win a variety of prizes.
Guests will be able to play games that are familiar to fans such as Plinko, Cliffhangers, The Big Wheel, and even the Showcase. Prizes may include appliances, vacations and possibly even a new car.

The Price Is Right Live! has given away more than $12 million in cash and prizes and has sold more than 1.2 million tickets, according to data provided by the show’s producers.
Gayane Makaryan of Jack Casino said tickets for the game show's appearance at the casino are $45 and can be purchased online at jackentertainment.com/cincinnati/entertainment.
Registration to be a contestant will not require paying any additional fees according to Makaryan. The show is open to guests 21 years or older. A ticket purchase will not increase your chances of being selected to play. A ticket is required to watch the show.
As for winners, after someone wins a prize a producer will ask them to return to the front of the stage after the show where all the necessary paperwork will be done for the prizing.
