Hiring starts soon as new Butler County Dairy Queen sets opening date

A new Dairy Queen restaurant less than half a mile north of Ohio 129’s Cincinnati-Dayton Road exit plans to start hiring next month in advance of a September opening.

The 2,612-square-foot DQ Grill & Chill location has been under construction at since early spring at the corner of Cincinnati-Dayton Road and Wyandot Lane in Liberty Twp.’s downtown Bethany neighborhood.

The restaurant, which is being constructed by Fairfield-based BHI General Contracting, will have 72 seats along with a drive-thru on the east side of the property and a covered patio.

Featuring hot food, treats, table delivery and self-serve soft drinks, DQ Grill & Chill is the new concept for new and renovated full-service restaurants. Stores typically are larger than older-style locations and feature an entirely new store design.
