Responding to the scene were fire departments from numerous jurisdictions, including Madison Twp., Wayne Twp., Trenton and Warren County, according to dispatchers.
The family escaped the blaze without injury and the fire was extinguished by 1 p.m., dispatchers said. The Red Cross was called to the scene to help find lodging for the family.
There’s no word yet on what might have caused the fire or how much damage it caused to the home.
