A Butler County grand jury will review the case against Jeffrey Scott King, 48, who was charged last week with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs, third-degree felonies.

His $20,000 bond was continued.

Butler County Regional Narcotics Task Force officers executed a search warrant Nov. 26 at a house in the 5300 block of Sandstone Drive. There, officers found marijuana, hash oil, and vaping devices pre-loaded with a marijuana substance and multiple firearms and more than $3,000 in cash, according to the sheriff’s office.

Two of the firearms seized had been reported stolen, according to the sheriff’s office.

The drugs had a street value of $23,000, according to Butler County Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Hackney. More charges will be added against King when the case is presented to a Butler County grand jury, he said.
