Crime scene tape blocks scene of Middletown house fire

Yellow crime scene tape surrounded a house Friday night after it caught fire.

Firefighters were called around 8:30 p.m. to home in the 1200 block of Lind Street in Middletown, with assistance requested from Monroe.

Middletown police are now investigating the fire, which initially was reported to have someone possibly trapped inside the home.
