Middletown police detectives are investigating an alleged rape that was reported Thursday morning in downtown, according to the police report.

The 25-year-old woman told police she was raped by a white male, about 6-foot, skinny, wearing orange and black Jordan tennis shoes, blue jeans, a black and orange hat and a black hoodie. She said the incident occurred in the alley behind Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Ave.
