A Hamilton man suffered a gunshot wound early Tuesday morning, but despite witnesses to the crime, police said they have little information for investigation.
Maleek Jarrett, 18, of North F. Street, reported he was shot in the arm at about 12:49 a.m. May 29 in the 800 block of South Fourth Street, according to a Hamilton police report. He was treated for the non-life-threatening wound.

According to the felonious assault report, Jarrett said an unknown person caused the injury then fled the scene. There are two people listed as witnesses, but Sgt. Brian Robinson said neither claims to have seen anything.
“They are basically being non-cooperative,” he said.
