Reported armed robbery outside a Middletown bar

A 26-year-old Middletown man told police he was robbed of $100, car keys and a cellphone on June 25 during an alleged armed robbery outside the 513 Lounge, 611 N. Verity Parkway.

The man and his female friend said after they walked to their car, two men approached and told them to get “everything out of his pockets,” the report read.

Before the man could empty his pockets, he was punched several times, according to the report. Police said the man had an injury above his right eye.

After stealing the items, the two suspects ran away.

Middletown police attempted to do a track, but were unsuccessful.
