Fairfield man indicted on attempted murder charge

HAMILTON — A Fairfield man has been indicted by a Butler County grand jury of attempted murder, felonious assault and kidnapping in connection to a June 2 stabbing.

Robin A. Chester Jr., 25, of 3607 Woodridge Blvd., was arrested June 2 after officers responded to the residence around 5 a.m. and found Jennifer Miller, 33, with multiple stab wounds.

Miller was flown to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where her condition was not released.

Fairfield police Chief Mike Dickey said police are still investigating what led to the assault.

Chester will appear before Judge Craig Hedric for his arraignment, which has not been scheduled. He remains in the Butler County Jail.
