Company investing $36M at West Chester site, creating 120 new jobs

Midwest-based food manufacturer SugarCreek announced today it is investing in its Butler County location at 4235 Thunderbird Lane in West Chester Twp., adding 120 new jobs and $36 million in its food manufacturing business.

SugarCreek offers food processing, packaging solutions and culinary guidance to several of the largest food companies in the world to develop Brandworthy Food Solutions, officials said.

After considering multiple locations across the Midwest, SugarCreek worked with West Chester Twp., REDI Cincinnati, and JobsOhio to finalize West Chester as a focus of investment.

SugarCreek’s $36 million investment includes the addition of two new product lines and 15,000 square feet of office space, as well as significant modifications to its existing production capabilities.

As a result of SugarCreek’s investment and jobs commitment, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority voted today to approve a seven-year, 1.193 percent Job Creation Tax Credit.
