Bengals players to visit Liberty Center Dick’s Sporting Goods

Liberty Center anchor tenant Dick’s Sporting Goods has opened its store at the mega retail development, but a grand opening celebration with special prizes and celebrity appearances won’t be held until later this month, according to the company.

According to local newspaper advertising and the sporting goods retailer’s website, Dick’s won’t be holding grand opening festivities until Oct. 24 and 25.

The special activities will be held from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, according to dickssportinggoodsonline.com. The first 100 customers in line that Saturday could get a free T-shirt; and the first 100 adult shoppers on that upcoming Sunday will receive a mystery gift card with amounts ranging up to $500.

Cincinnati Bengals players Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu are scheduled to visit the store Oct. 25, according to Dick’s.

All that weekend, customers can enter a social media sweepstakes to win a $100 gift card.

Construction continues at the approximately $350 million Liberty Center project, located at the crossroads of Liberty Way, Ohio 129 and Interstate 75 in Butler County's Liberty Twp. The first phase consists of just over 1 million square feet of shopping, dining, office and residential space.
