How to find shopping deals and more at Girls’ Night Out in Lebanon

Grab your girls and your best luau outfit for a fun night of shopping.

Girls’ Night Out in downtown Lebanon will run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and shoppers can enjoy the festive atmosphere while they shop at more than 50 participating merchants, many of which will be offering special deals.

“It’s a fun evening to go out with your girlfriends, and shop in Lebanon. You can get some great deals on quality merchandise. You name it, and it’s here. It’s a one-stop shopping area,” said Donna Cox, executive director, Main Street Lebanon.

The Girls’ Night Out shopping experience has recently expanded to four events per year. Previously, there were two events each year. This is the third year for the Girls’ Night Out events.

Here are three things to know before you go:

THE THEME

“We usually pick a theme for the night — something that’s going to be fun for our participants. It’s summer, and we picked a Hawaiian theme for this event. There will be ukulele players throughout downtown, and we have a cut-out board for photo opportunities, where you can stand with a surfer in your luau outfit, and have your picture taken with your girlfriends,” said Donna Cox, executive director, Main Street Lebanon.

Cox said many of the merchants’ stores will be decorated, sharing in the Hawaiian theme. They will also offer light refreshments throughout the evening.

THE LOCATIONS

Downtown Lebanon is about a four-square-block area. There will be signs directing shoppers throughout downtown.

A variety of shopping is available — from clothing, jewelry and gifts to food, flowers, antiques and other specialty shops. One of which is The Village Parlor, an ice cream parlor in town where several Hollywood movies have been filmed.

There’s also a lot of history to appreciate, including the Golden Lamb, Warren County Historical Society, The Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad (LM&M Railroad) and Glendower Mansion.

“Downtown Lebanon is such a unique area, and we love to show off our town,” Cox said.
