Ira Glass, The Moth coming to Dayton

Here’s some good news for local residents who can’t get enough of a good story.

Yellow Springs-based WYSO 91.3 will bring "This American Life" host Ira Glass and The Moth Radio Hour to downtown Dayton for two special events.

Glass will present “Seven Things I’ve Learned” at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the Schuster Center, 1 W. Second St.

Five storytellers will present at the Moth Mainstage beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Victoria Theatre, 138 N. Main St.

“It was so well received the first time, and we really like that they used two local storytellers. All the parts of it was a good experience,” WYSO General Manager Luke Dennis said of The Moth, which was staged here in April 2019.

The stories presented in November will be new, as will be the presenters.
