>> California casual: Fleming’s offers 4-course virtual wine dinner
More than 100 Ohio wineries will be participating in “Super Sipper Saturday” on Saturday, May 2. On this day, residents of Ohio are encouraged to support their local wineries by placing phone, online and email orders.
"We are thrilled to launch Super Sipper Saturday in support of wineries across the state of Ohio," Susan D. Myers, publisher of TheWineBuzz magazine, said in a release. "These small businesses represent a billion-dollar industry and more than 8,000 full-time jobs – and they're in jeopardy because of the COVID-19 crisis. We're asking Buckeyes and wine enthusiasts to shop their favorite Ohio wineries with phone, online and email orders on Saturday, May 2."

Currently, the vineyard is offering case discounts, curbside service, free local delivery (within an 8-mile radius) and shipping throughout Ohio and in most states.
“We’re grateful for this program, which puts Ohio wines in the spotlight and can assist Dragonfly and other Ohio wineries during these times,” said Kent Eichenauer, a winemaker at the Dragonfly Vineyard.
