Yet another popular Ohio festival has been canceled due to fears over the spread of the coronavirus.

>> CANCELED: We won’t be celebrating these Dayton-area festivals this year

The Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati, originally set to take place over the weekend of Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7, has been canceled with no plans of being postponed to a later date in 2020.

“Because of the current government mandates and the ever changing situation in Ohio, we feel that it would not be safe or sensible to host our annual event,” said organizers on the festival’s website. “The health and safety of our guests, staff, artists, vendors, and partners is our main concern and not something that we take lightly.”

>> Dayton Pride 2020 rescheduled for August

This year, the festival was to be held at downtown Cincinnati’s Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove, and was set to feature headliners like Twenty One Pilots, Marshmello, The Avett Brothers, Kane Brown and Angels & Airwaves.

Refunds will be automatically issued to ticket holders within the next 30 to 45 days, and PromoWest Productions is currently working through refund options for ticket holders who purchased their tickets at the Bunbury lineup announcement party.

Additional details regarding this cancellation and the 2021 festival will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
