Middletown’s Broad Street Bash for May 24 rescheduled

UPDATE @ 12:30 p.m.: The Broad Street Bash concert featuring the Nick Netherton Band with Heather Roush in Middletown has been rescheduled for Aug. 16, organizers said.

Tonight’s Broad Street Bash has been canceled by organizers because of the inclement weather forecast for tonight.

Storms are predicted for the area, with the heaviest rain arriving this evening.

INITIAL REPORT:

This year’s Broad Street Bash, a free downtown concert, kicks off tonight in Middletown.

The Nick Netherton Band with Heather Roush will perform from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Governor’s Square, corner of Broad Street and Central Avenue.

Besides the band, there will be food, drinks and a kids zone. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
