Cats and dogs dressed in Halloween costumes are invited to brighten the day of a resident at Spring Hills Middletown Assisted Living.

The Middletown assisted living center is hosting its annual Halloween and PawFest celebration from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 25, for residents and the public.
And pets in Halloween costumes are invited to join the senior residents at the event.
The evening benefits the Animal Friends Humane Society, and guests are encouraged to bring a donation of pet food.
