How to use the ePaper to read a back issue of the newspaper

Go ahead and recycle your printed paper

The ePaper includes up to 2 ½ years of the newspaper digital replica edition. With your subscription, you can access those back issues any time.

To access from web browser, you must launch the ePaper. After signing in to Journal-News.com, you can launch the ePaper from the menu.

Or you can scroll down just below the log-in menu and click Read Now for today’s ePaper.

There are several shortcuts on the Journal-News website homepage to access your ePaper.

Once the ePaper loads, the back issues and archives live on the landing page of the ePaper, located just below the “today’s edition” of the ePaper.

You will see thumbnail images of the papers from the current month in the main window. If you want to go back to previous months, use the calendar icon to choose the year and date of the back edition you want to read..

You can read the back-issue just like you would read today’s ePaper. You can download it to read offline, use the Read Aloud feature, print, share or bookmark it for later.

From the landing page of your ePaper, scroll down to access back editions. You can use the calendar tool to choose the date you'd like to read in the archive.
